I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Biological Science and have worked in the molecular field for 8+ years. My work experience as a Quality Assurance Lead with Pacific Architects and Engineers exposed me to a technical and analytical side of the business that sparked a new interest in my life. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the major transition from tracking and managing scientific samples manually to using an advanced software application that would track samples live, manage chain of custody and accurately analyze and store data. From this point on, to fulfill my curiosity about software development, I started to learn javascript and a bit of python and was eventually able to start building applications. It was then that I knew my career needed to take a change from a lab environment into a more technical field where I can combine my scientific and analytical background with my new passion for programming.
Now, as a Fullstack Web Developer I have experience with programming languages that include but are not limited to React, Redux, Javascript, Rails, Ruby, JQuery, HTML, CSS and PostGreSQL. I am looking for a company that will allow me to grow as an engineer and will challenge me every day to better myself and the world.

I am very passionate about gardening and frequently grow vegetables for my family. While gardening, I have often found that I have to frequently search multiple sites to find information about how and when to grow vegetables. This dilemma encouraged me to build an app that would provide gardeners with all the information they need to grow vegetables successfully all in one app.

I love cooking and exploring different nationality food so I wanted to build an app where the people can easily find and post their own recipes, hence the idea behind this app was born. This is not only my first group project but I was also the lead for the project. I oversaw backend, frontend, and helped wherever I was needed. In my previous jobs, I have always either trained or managed my collegues and this project gave me chance to exhibit my leadership skills in very different setting then I am accustomed to.
